WALK AGAINST CHILDHOOD CANCER

Purpose:

The STRONG WALK is a fundraiser aiming to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer patients. At the age of seventeen, Domir Kent,  was diagnosed with Stage 4 Grey Zone Lymphoma. It takes so much more than medical interventions to get through the diagnosis and treatment. Being diagnosed has widened our family's perspective on what it takes to overcome such an battle. Now being in remission Domir wants to give back and help other children by providing them and their families with the necessary resource for them to have a victory outcome. Your donation will allow us to support these children in their fight against cancer!

Donation Impact:

For teens battling pediatric cancer, the journey is filled with challenges—long hospital stays, painful treatments, and the struggle to hold on to a sense of normalcy. Beyond medical care, they long for comfort, connection, and hope.

With the support of our community and generous donations from The Strong Walk, we can help ease their burden by providing:

-Comfort & Relief – Cozy blankets, self-care items, and essentials to make treatment days a little easier.

-Distraction & Joy – Tablets, headphones, and creative outlets to help them escape, even for a moment.

-Emotional & Peer Support – Special outings and events where they can connect with others who understand their fight.

- Education & Future Support – Resources to help them keep up with school and plan for life beyond cancer.

- Financial Relief- Families can avoid the crippling costs of extended hotel stays or long commutes. 

- Mental Well-Being- Access to a supportive environment reduces the stress and isolation often felt during treatment.
